Simple, organized and personal
How It Works From the first message to the moment you return home
Every farm and homestead has its own routine. We take time to learn your animals, property and instructions before care begins, then follow an agreed plan during every scheduled visit.

The first visit
What happens during the walkthrough
The walkthrough helps us understand the property in person and gives you the opportunity to demonstrate exactly how you want each task done.
We learn the routine
You show us how your normal farm or household routine works so we can follow your instructions as closely as possible.
We review important details
We also confirm access instructions, emergency information and anything else that could affect safe and reliable service.
During your time away
What happens during each scheduled visit
Each visit is guided by your approved care plan. The specific tasks depend on the visit length, number of animals and level of care your property requires.
We also watch for visible changes such as low water, unusual animal behavior, an open gate, a damaged enclosure or another concern that should be brought to your attention.
When something unexpected happens
Emergency communication
Animals and properties can be unpredictable. Before care begins, we ask for emergency contact information and instructions about how you would like us to respond if we notice a concern.
Homestead Farm Services does not replace a veterinarian, emergency repair professional or first responder. Our role is to observe, communicate and follow the emergency instructions you provided.
